Rasmus Paludan is the leader of a far-right political party in Denmark called “Stram Kurs” (Hard Line). He has stated the desire to ban Islam in the country. Famous for his strong opinion about non-western immigration, in April 2019, Paludan was convicted of expressing racist views. On the 7th of November 2019, he demonstrated again on the streets of Nørrebro, one of the 10 districts of Copenhagen, known for its poly-cultural society, by burning the Quran.
