The Humming of Swan Wings is a personal photographic project that explore the sense of social isolation and takes the viewer to Thylejren, in North-West Denmark.

The village, located in one of the most untouched areas of the Scandinavian country, was founded in 1970 when, after a music festival inspired by Woodstock, some people decided to settle down and spend the harsh Danish winter in tents. Today the community counts about 100 inhabitants including children.

Thylejren is a social experiment ruled by a direct democracy and based on three basic rules: no hard drugs, no violence, no theft.
